Stories are the heartbeat of human connection. They shape how we understand the world, how we see ourselves, and how we imagine what’s possible. Every woman carries stories within her — stories of resilience, creativity, joy, loss, hope, and transformation. Yet too often, those stories are left unwritten, unpublished, or unheard.
At Hudson Publishing Company (HPC), we believe that every woman’s story matters. Not just the bestselling novelist or the established author, but the teacher with a vision for a children’s book, the entrepreneur with lessons to share, the grandmother with a memoir to leave behind, or the young creative dreaming up an app or game. Every voice has value. Every story has the power to change lives.
That’s why we exist: Connecting Stories. Changing Lives. Empowering Women. Inspiring Futures.
When women share their stories, extraordinary things happen:
Your story may feel personal, but once shared, it becomes part of a larger conversation — one that can inspire, educate, and transform others.
Despite the progress women have made in publishing, barriers remain. Many still feel:
At HPC, we are breaking those barriers. We believe publishing should be accessible, innovative, and empowering. That’s why we’re building platforms that allow women not just to publish, but to amplify their voices across multiple formats.
When we say we’re “building platforms,” we mean it literally. Hudson Publishing Company doesn’t just release books — we create opportunities for women to see their ideas come alive in many forms.
Our multi-media approach reflects the way people consume stories today. It ensures women’s creativity isn’t boxed into one format, but instead has the chance to reach the widest possible audience.
HPC was born out of lived experience.
When Jill Hudson, our founder, faced her divorce, she realized how much she longed for a space where women’s voices were celebrated and supported.
“When I created Hudson Publishing Company, it was because I knew what it felt like to have a story inside me and not know where to take it. I wanted to build the kind of platform I wished existed — one where women could bring their ideas to life across every format, and be supported at every step.” – Jill Hudson
Her own project, Santa Academy, proved that vision. With more than 10,000 pre-app orders and 20,000+ social followers in a couple of months during its soft launch, it became more than an app — it evolved into a whole digital experience that captured imaginations across the United States and UK. That journey showed Jill the true potential of multi-platform storytelling, and it’s the foundation on which HPC is built today.
Because your story matters.
The book you’ve dreamed of writing, the idea for an app that’s been sitting in your notebook, the game concept you’ve sketched out, the memoir you’ve promised yourself you’ll finish one day — all of it matters. Not just for you, but for the women who will read it, the children who will grow up with it, and the communities that will be shaped by it.
We’re building these platforms so that no woman has to wonder where to take her story, or whether it’s worth sharing. At HPC, the answer will always be yes: your story matters.
Your voice deserves to be heard. Your story deserves to be shared. And the world deserves to see what you’ve created.
